Team / Player Registration, Cancellations and Refunds

Catapult Advantage reserves the right to reschedule or cancel an event or session at any time due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to insufficient registration, weather, or referee availability. Minimum registrant requirements vary.  We strive to inform participants if an event or session must be rescheduled or canceled at least two(2) business days in advance of the scheduled date, whenever possible. If Catapult Advantage cancels an event or session, you will be given the option to transfer to a later date up to two (2) months from the original activity date or be issued a credit or a refund.

Customer Cancellation
Refund requests made more than 10 business days prior to an event or session will be subject to an administration fee of 5% of the total price. Refund requests made between 1 and 10 business days prior to a session are subject to a 20% administration fee. Alternatively, you may request that the original registration fee be applied towards a future event or session of your choice. No refunds, credits or transfers will be issued on the day of, or after the event or session.

This year (2024) marks the final season of rugby to be played at Fletcher’s Fields – the home of rugby in Ontario – before it is transferred to its new owners at the City of Markham. 

With 58 years of history to commemorate, Fletcher's Fields is going all in to give the facility a proper send-off, launching the 2024 Summer Celebration of Rugby. The season-long event will feature several high school, collegiate and club tournaments played at Fletcher’s Fields, as well as minor and junior festivals, development opportunities for players, coaches, referees, and rugby administrators, and elite-level matches throughout the Ontario rugby season from May to October. 

Our vision is to make this the greatest season of rugby Fletcher’s Fields has ever hosted.  

This summer will be unlike any rugby season Fletcher's Fields has ever seen over its illustrious, 58-year history. Our 2024 Summer Celebration of Rugby will have something for everyone, from under 6 to over 60, and will ensure Fletcher’s leaves a lasting legacy for generations of rugby supporters to come. 

Our goal is to 1) have as many people as possible; 2) participate in as much rugby as possible; 3) as often as possible at Fletcher’s Fields in 2024.

Events taking place at Fletcher’s Fields as part of the 2024 Summer Celebration of Rugby are categorized in one of four key themes: Development, Participation, Spectator / Entertainment, or Celebration. 

Development Events: Whether you’re an aspiring player, coach, or referee, our Summer Celebration of Rugby education series will provide an opportunity for those across all levels to cultivate and refine their existing skillsets. Prominent figures in the rugby community will lead our courses, providing all participants with a springboard to elevate their abilities. 

Participation Events: Bolstered by an unprecedented event schedule, the Summer Celebration of Rugby will provide the opportunity for all individuals who have interest in rugby to participate in the festivities. From festivals and tournaments to combines and showcases, there’s events for everyone – all ages and all levels of play – running this summer at Fletcher’s Fields. See you on the pitch! 

Spectator / Entertainment Events: The Summer Celebration of Rugby will see several high-level matches arrive at Fletcher’s Fields over the course of the summer, providing all fans the opportunity to observe some of the best rugby our country has to offer and inspiring the next generation of Canadian rugby players. 

Celebration Events: In celebrating the enduring contributions of Fletcher's Fields over its illustrious six-decade history, we are excited to host a series of luncheons, dinners, and social events this summer. By blending nostalgia, community engagement, and philanthropy, these social gatherings aim to celebrate the legacy of Fletcher's Fields in a truly impactful and memorable way.

Fletcher’s Fields Limited, which owned the facility before it was sold to the City of Markham in 2021, has six equal shareholders that call the ground home: Aurora Barbarians, Markham Irish, Rugby Ontario, Toronto Nomads, Toronto Saracens and Toronto Scottish. 

Fletcher’s Fields’ Summer Celebration of Rugby is also supported by key rugby organizations like the Canadian Rugby Foundation, For the Love of the Game, Rugby Canada, the Toronto Inner-City Rugby Foundation and Toronto Rugby.
