The Rugby 10s tournament is an exhilarating and dynamic event that showcases the fast-paced and action-packed nature of the sport. Teams from various regions or countries converge to compete in this high-energy tournament, where skill, strategy, and athleticism are on full display.
The tournament typically takes place on a full-size rugby pitch, with matches featuring ten players on each side instead of the traditional fifteen. The reduced team size results in a more open style of play, with plenty of space for players to showcase their speed, agility, and ball-handling skills.
Matches are characterized by intense bursts of activity, with quick turnovers, rapid ball movement, and exciting try-scoring opportunities. The shorter match duration, often around 10-15 minutes per half, adds to the sense of urgency and excitement as teams battle it out for victory.
Location: Fletchers Fields
Date: Sunday July 21st
Fletcher's Fields is looking forward to announcing further Summer Celebration of Rugby events in the coming days. Stay tuned for more information.
